2015 TBR Challenge

The 2014 TBR Challenge didn't go so well for me (of my ten books and five alternates, I read precisely one book). But my overall year-long focus for 2015 is "light", which includes lightening the ever-growing TBR list, so here I am again for Roof Beam Reader's 2015 TBR Challenge.

And I'm picking books from my TBR pile that lend themselves to that very lightening, in various ways:

  1. Getting Things Done, by David Allen
  2. When Women Were Birds, by Terry Tempest Williams
  3. How to Live: The Life of Montaigne in One Question and Twenty Answers, by Sarah Bakewell
  4. Daring Greatly, by Brene Brown
  5. Birds of a Lesser Paradise, by Meghan Mayhew Bergman
  6. The Reason I Jump, by Naoki Higashida
  7. Housekeeping, by Marilynne Robinson
  8. The Diamond as Big as the Ritz, by F. Scott Fitzgerald
  9. Wild, by Cheryl Strayed
  10. Alias Grace, by Margaret Atwood
  11. The Signature of All Things, by Elizabeth Gilbert
  12. I Married You for Happiness, by Lily Tuck (currently reading)

  1. Americanah, by Chimimanda Ngozi Adichie
  2. Fear of Flying, by Erica Jong

  1. I love your list… a few there I would like to read. I got some great ideas from Getting Things Done and Brene Brown's book is inspiring. Good luck with the challenge.

Thanks for stopping by!
